Welcome to April 06 Fun days of Us - Marc, Dina and Nyah!!!

Our April was a nice month with some warm days, pretty bubbles and lots of visits.

We started the month with a visit from Darlene, Scott and Alyssa.  We all had a nice time hanging out relaxing and watching the girls play.  Nyah and Alyssa normally have a fun time together and today was not exception. 

With the nice weather in April coming out to play, so did Nyah's bike.  She was very excited when Marc took the bike out.  She didn't forget how to use it and only fell a few times.  She was ready and raring to go from the minute she saw riding machine...  She is so cute in her safety helmet...

The following weekend was one just for us.  It was a quiet weekend for just hangout together.  Nyah and I had some cuddling time after one of her naps, it is so nice to relax and just hold her sometimes.  We also got some cool pictures of Nyah making fun faces.  She loves making faces these days.

We don't have any pictures, but Nyah and I signed up for a local program called Ooey Gooey Fun.  It is each Wednesday morning for 10 weeks.  We play in a group setting with other kids and parents.  Fun playing in the gym, then sensor activities and craft.  We end the day with circle time, book reading and snack.  Nyah is really enjoying it.  We even planted a green bean.  Now we get to see it grow.  Nyah also planted some Forget-me-not seeds at Marsha's that are also growing quite well too.  She seems to really enjoy the fun activity planting seeds and watering.

After a busy week, we were all ready for our Easter weekend.  Nyah and I started the long weekend by coloring some eggs.  We had lots of laughs and ended the process with lots of colorful eggs.  Nyah really had fun doing it and she was very excited to proudly display her creations.  I hope you enjoy our pretty collection too.

We spend Good Friday, with each other.  We went to the park, for a nice long walk and ride.  Nyah loves riding her bike, she now goes all the way around the block and hasn't fallen in weeks.  Her feet and little legs move very fast with the paddles.  It is great to see her coordination and her determination.  

On Saturday after playing at home for a while we got Nyah all dressed up and headed to visit Darlene, Scott, Corey and Alyssa.  The girls again had lots of fun. 

On Easter morning Nyah was very excited to see the Bunny had come to visit.  When we came out of our room she was very happy to see that the bunny left 3 baskets by the bedroom door for our egg hunt.  He brought lots of pretty eggs with some candy, hair clips and toys in them.  The bunny also brought a chocolate bunny and a Mr. Potato Head bunny.  She also got lots of books, Dora movie and a bubble kit from us.  She was also delighted to see her treats from Mich and Pere, Taunt Krista and Uncle Dick, Taunt Ingrid and Uncle Rodney, Memere and Pepere , and Uncle Mike and Taunt Stephanie along with her cousins.  We also had some company - Harm, Parmi and the boys for a nice ham dinner.  The kids and Daddy's went to the park for some fun while the Mommy's got dinner ready.  It was a nice and happy visit. 

After Easter we just had some quiet time hanging out before Mich, Pere and Taunt Krista came to visit.  We were very excited to have them come, we made a nice pretty tasty cake before they came to celebrate Taunt's 40th Birthday.  Nyah had a fun time helping make the cake, she love to taste the batter each step of the way. 

YEAH...  THEY ARE HERE!!!  After Ooey Gooey Fun, we came home and our company was there waiting for us...  Nyah was very excited to see them.  She really loves and misses them.  On that same night we had our last meeting with our social worker.  Now she will write up our home study and we will be another step closer to a mei mei and a new baby. 

Nyah has been enjoying the wonderful weather these days, because we have had many opportunities to get to the park.  From what you can see, Marc and I also like going to the park.  We enjoy the slides and going on a bus ride or sitting at the picnic eating lots of "cookies". 

Nyah has also been loving our visit with our company.  She has been spending lots of days at home with them, while we are at work.  Nyah has done lots of things so far in April with them like cleaning the smelts that Pere brought for dinner, making play dough and making lots of crafts.
