Welcome to the April08 Fun Page.  April began with a new adventure for Nyah.  We signed Nyah up for a gymnastics class with a new gym in Guelph - The Little Gym.  The first night was rather difficult for Nyah because although she was excited about going but she was really shy and didn't know what she wanted to do.  I think she really wanted to join the group of kids but she was so shy and so thorn on what to do next.  It was really sad, but the following week she much braver and went in and tried a few things.  She was still shy but has gotten more into learning the techniques and being part of a group.

After Nyah's first class at the end of the week we took a family outing at Great Wolf Lodge.  This was our second time to the lodge but this time we went with some good friends, Nicole, Doug, Aidan and Ellie.  It was great to see them all again.  The lodge was lots of fun again with the great room, the fun slides and the big splashes.  We always have a great time.  It is really cool to see Nyah being scared but yet brave at as she asks a few times to go down this big family tube ride and continually screams all the way down.

Although the month was great we really didn't get a lot of pictures.  So here we are nearly to the end of the month, we gladly welcome another wonderful visit from Miche and Pere.    Nyah was so excited as she was waiting for the them to come, she could hardly get to bed the night before.  It was also really cute because we were all at home waiting, Nyah decided to go upstairs in Miche and Pere's room to watch for their car, but as she was watching Treehouse and waiting, they arrived...  So I actually ended up closing the door on them (yes, after a 15 hour drive) because I wanted Nyah to be the first to see them...  When she finally noticed that they were here (after a little hint from us) she came running down the stairs yelling they are here, I will get it...  Then the hugs began...
