Welcome to our June07 fun Page. June was fun month as
we continued our visit with Miche and Pere. Marc and I started off the
month with a nice overnight away at the
Elora Mill Inn. This is a very old historic country inn that sets
on the Elora Gorge. The view from our room was just beautiful. We
really enjoyed our night out with a nice long quiet dinner and a nice walk.
Thanks to Mom and Dad for watching Nyah for us. I know that they also
had a great time together.

Another thing we are very excited about is a new camper we
purchased. It is a
Jayco Jay Series 1206. We are all loving it. After picking
it up, we enjoyed our first camping trip to
Elora
Conservation park from the Grandriver Conversation area. We made
the trip with Scott, Darlene and the kids. They also purchased a
trailer. The kids had a great time playing together. They had
some arguments and some disagreements of over the toys but mostly they had a
fun time. The only sad thing about our camping trip was Marc was not
feeling well and needed to do alot of rest. On the morning of father's
day, we headed back home and Marc just crashed for the rest of the day (not
many pictures were taken... opps). At the end
of June, we went camping again in Brampton. The campground was not
very appealing but we still had some fun. We went there so we could be
close to the Blackcreek Pioneer Village
for the Family Outreach
International annual reunion on Canada Day (check in for July to see
more on that trip and the fun reunion).
Well that pretty much covers all of the events of June...
Sorry for the very long time it has taken to get this month done.
Please come back in a couple of weeks to check out the
July07 Fun page. We will fill you in on our FOI reunion, Marsha's 2nd
annual family picnic and our trip to NB...

As you may realize Nyah will be starting Jr. Kindergarten
this September, and as part of the orientation, Nyah and I made a visit to
her new school - John
McCrae Public School. It is a French emersion school. She
will be attending each Tuesday and Thursday along with every other Fridays.
Nyah was a bit nervous to make her first visit to the
school. While we were there, I went to the gym with the other parents
for an information session given by the school principal. Nyah on the
other hand stayed in the class with the teacher and the other kids to read
books and do a little craft.
As expected Nyah was alittle upset when I needed to leave.
I told her that it was ok and that I will be back later. Apparently
she didn't take too long to calm down and enjoyed some of the books, but
then she got upset again. This time another teacher took her to the
side to comfort her. I guess that worked. Then it was time for
craft, she did ok with that for a bit, and got upset again. The
teacher distracted her and got her to focus on making the craft for Mommy.
After about 45 minutes, I returned back to the class and Nyah was excited to
show me the butterfly she made for me.
Before we headed out the door, Miche got a few pictures of
Nyah all dressed up and leaving. It was a pretty special time.
As June passed on, we were coming to an end of our visit with
Miche and Pere.
Nyah treated us to a very special personal recital.
She loved to dress up in her dancing clothes and shoes. Once she was
ready, she would send us to our assigned seats, get our tickets then give us
a wonderful performance. She loved doing it for us. It was lots
of fun.
We also enjoyed a nice cool treat at the Boathouse, a
local ice cream parlor. Nyah loves to get it but she spends too much
time and less licking. Her face seems to have more ice cream on it
then in her mouth.
Before they left for their trip to NB, we celebrated an
early father's day with Pere. He really enjoyed the calender we made
for him. It's now a tradition, and he enjoys get it and looking at the
neat pictures that I choose.
While Marc and I were having our night away, Nyah most
definitely had a great time at home with Miche and Pere. After a nice
dinner out for the three of them, they came home to realize that Mayah was
visiting Lynn and Tom next door. The girls had the most wonderful time
playing in the sprinkles as Tom was watering.
And the next morning, Nyah and Pere showed Miche the
evidence that must have fallen asleep first, because her underwear were
frozen.... Nyah had a huge laugh about this.
June has been a very eventful month, as you can see it has
brought many fun times including Alyssa's 3rd birthday and Kaylee's 1st.
Everyone had a fun time and enjoyed the cake... Poor Kaylee celebrated
her special day with chickenpox's.
Along with the excitement of soccer we also had a fun time
experiencing the Circus. Nyah was somewhat frighten but yet very
excited about some of the tricks and seeing the elephants. Scott and
Darlene and the girls also came down to joy us for our trip to the circus.
After the show, the girls then had a great time making some special
paintings.
Nyah also did much better playing soccer in June. As
the weeks have gone on she has gotten much better and playing in a team.
It is really cute to her and the other kid running and playing.
Sometimes they just seat around and look around and sometimes they are
really active and lots of energy. It is so cute to watch how they
start the session. First Coach Paul ask everyone if they have any
comments or information about soccer or anything. It is really funny
to hear what things these kids come up with, then they do stretches and
drills followed up with a game with a neighboring team. Enjoy our
soccer picture for June.
