Well after many weeks of visiting with family and friends, during Miche and Pere's stay we decided to take a little overnight shopping trip to the Prime Outlets in Grove City, Pennsylvania.

We all got up really early and after nearly 4 hours, we were setting in the parking lot waiting for the stores to open... The day was great. I went crazy at lots of stores getting clothes for Nyah from stores like Carters, Oshkosh, Old Navy, etc... The guys also had a great time buys shoes and sweaters. The day was great, and we had a wonderful fashion show courteously of Nyah her new 13+ dresses... She really was tired but she was excited about the show. The next day after some sleep at the hotel, we headed back to the outlets for more shopping for the bigger people. Mind you Nyah did also get some shoes that day...

After our shopping weekend, we were all excited as Nyah started her 2nd year of soccer. She looked great in her uniform and again this year, we still are not seeing her shorts... Maybe next year I guess. Nyah was really excited this year about the soccer also. Oddly, soccer is the only item that she asked if she could sign up for and we were all happy to see that she has Coach Paul again. The first night was great, but very cold. The air and wind seemed to go through us all.

As the week went on the air got warmer but still very windy, but that didn't stop Nyah from wanting to setup her first ever Lemonade stand. She was very excited and was really happy when "really" customers came for a refreshing drink. She even sold Tom a cup of ice for $0.50 then when the ice was melted she asked for the cup back so she would have it for her next customer. It was just great...

We all are very excited about our first camping trip of the season. After lots of searching in March, we were able to find a campsite in Selkirk at a provincial park. We started out the weekend with a really funny messy situation. If anyone of you have ever gone camping that first May 2/4 weekend you know that the ground can be pretty damp and soft, well as we arrive at the campground, Marc pulls up to the water tap to fill up the tank and as we are approaching it, I say "Marc we don't need to go on the grass, the hose will reach". But it is too late, we are already on the grass and are now stuck. After lots of pushing, we are all covered in mud and still stuck. So we end up having to disconnect the camper from the van before we can get out. Then it is time to try and push the camper... Needless to say, we are now all dirty as we begin the weekend... And as we pull up to our site, we are all surprised to see that we actually have water on the site... (we were told that the site only had electricity).

Anyway, the weekend was wet during the day but cleared up each night for us all to enjoy a hot camp fire. And let me tell you they were some hot fires, especially once Marc and Scott found some reminisce from a old torn down deck. The girls and everyone really enjoyed the evening with the fire and playing games. During the rainy day times, we took a couple of trips to town for Tim's and a visit to Giant Tiger.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to our May08 Fun Page. May was a great month with lots of family fun time. We started the month with a visit to see my cousin Carrie and her new little guy, Braden. He is such a cutie with wonderful eyes. Mom and Dad were really happy to finally meet him. Nyah was also excited to meet another cousin.
