Welcome to our November08 Fun page...

Although November is a month with 30 days, picture taking was at a minimum.  Let me start by making some yummy cakes courtesy of Nyah's bakery.  Nyah got an Easy Bake Oven for her birthday from her cousin Amethyst.   She really enjoyed making her cake and playing with the oven.  It also brought back many great memories of playing with my oven in Mom and Dad' basement.  I remember Shelly Carrier (big Shelly) and I would play for hours down there making Vanilla, Chocolate and Marble cakes...    I hope that as the years go on, Nyah gets as much enjoyment out of her oven as I did.

As many of you saw our Christmas pictures, here are several that we taken of Nyah.  She was having a great time and we got lots of fun pictures of her laugh and making us laugh.

 

 

Nyah has a visitor...  Nyah was so excited on Nov 18/08 when she got home from school.  She was the first person in the class to take home Marshmallow, the class bear.  November at school was bear month and as part the learning all the kids are getting to take home the bear and sharing a few nights at home with you.  She also had to take care of Marshmallow, reading to her, playing with her.  Before taking her friend back to school she needed to write in Marshmallows journal about what they got to do together.  So we took some pictures of them playing and reading...  After Nyah was done reading to her, you can see she was also teaching how much fun it is to jump on the bed... 

Christmas is coming... And a fun party of that is Santa.  This year Nyah got to see Santa for the first time at the Christie Christmas party at Bingaman's in Kitchener.  Reluctantly Nyah sat on Santa's lap for a picture, she wasn't scared but wasn't very keen on it.  Interesting, that was the only time she sat on his lap this year.  She would not got see him at the mall. 

As November is coming to an end Nyah is getting very anxious about Christmas coming and decorating the tree... It was really funny because we were planning on going to get a real tree on the weekend but Nyah didn't like the idea of that and I know it for sure when she Mommy, I really really don't want a real tree - I want to use the fake one.  I said but why Nyah don't you like the real tree and said Yes, I like a really tree Mommy but I just can't wait any more....  So as you can see, we moved ahead with putting up the fake tree...

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARC!!!!

As we come to the end of November, we happily celebrate Marc's 37th Birthday.  We had a low key celebration at home.  It is so cute how excited Nyah was... She wake up at like 7:00 AM and wanted to give Marc his gift.  He was really happy with his new coffee maker and coffee press, but he may have also liked a little more sleep....  Lots of Love for you Daddy :)
