We started out the month slow with our regular routine of work, daycare and chores. But then on November 7, we got a call from my parents telling us that my Grandmother - Gomish had passed away. It was very sad to hear but fortunately she went very peaceful. She was a wonderful woman with a kind heart and a tell it like it is personality. She passed just 4 days short of her 92nd birthday. So that was the beginning of our last minute trip to New Brunswick. Within an hour Nyah and I were packed and on our way to the airport. Nyah, who is now 2 years old, needed to sit in her own seat on the plane. It was not very pleasant for either of us along with all the people on the plane. Because any other time we have flown she was able to sit in my lap feeling safe and secure. I won't go into detail but the flight back required us to take her car seat on board and it was even worse.
Our sudden visit went well. The funeral was a celebration of my grandmother and how much of a wonderful, true, honest, happy person she was in her long life. We will all miss you very much.

We also got to visit with other family members and Nyah also got to have a visit with Perry and Connie's horse. Nyah had fun feeding her some apples. I am not sure who enjoyed it more the horse or the kid. Nyah also got to have a sleep over with her cousins but she had lots of fun when Teresa slept over. They played row, row, row your boat and bears-dress up fun. But before we know it, we were heading back to see Daddy in Ontario. We really missed him too.
After we got back we just had enough time to make a cake for Mich's birthday cake. Nyah really has a great time being my little helper. Nyah was very happy to see Mich and Pere again. She had lots of fun play with them, from taking Pere's glasses to water play and making lots of alphabet soup for herself, Mich and Pere. Once she adjust back to going to Marsha's, Nyah got to take Friday's off and spend the day with her visiting grandparents. I think it was a fun time for them all. Marc and I also had a chance to take in a movie, which was a nice time. That was also the night that Nyah and Mich made Daddy's Birthday cake. There are lots of birthdays in November for our family, which means lots of yummy cake.... Nyah really enjoyed decorating the cake with lots of gummy bears and other tasty candy.
I hope you enjoy our November entry, it is a lot late but life sometimes happens before you know it. I hope you have a chance to take a look at our pictures too.
