Welcome to the November07 Fun page.  Nyah has been a busy but yet fun month.  It was quite busy for me at work but we still got to enjoy some fun times with family and friends.

We began the month with some yard work.  While we were out and enjoying the warm weather, Marc got some fun pictures of Nyah in the backyard.  It is really funny to see Nyah standing next to the Oak tree in our backyard.  When we moved into this house almost 5 years ago, the tree was basically being used to keep the old homeowners dog in the backyard.  So because the tree was 3 years old it was only about 4 feet tall.  Now the tree is almost as tall as our neighbors tree... 

Part way though November, Nyah excitedly enjoyed a great play date with one of her classmates, little Emily.  The girls had a wonderful time.  They came home from school and first had some hot chocolate with mini marshmallows along with some tangerines and crackers.  After the snacks they watched a little Cinderella, did some craft and played lots of dress up.  I had a great time getting the pizza ready with the girls.  They seemed to have had a wonderful time making the pizza and eating the cheese...  We went through like a whole brick....

 

We are now getting ready for into the holiday mood by first going to Cambridge Santa Claus Parade.  We had a great time.  it was Nyah's first time attending a parade.  Oddly we hadn't gone to one  before with her.  Nyah really enjoyed seeing all the floats and glittery lights.  Cambridge has an evening parade, so she also enjoyed the nice warm hot chocolate. 

The following weekend, the MacKenzie's came to visit for the day.  It was a really nice treat because Darlene and I took Nyah and Alyssa to see Cinderella at a local theatre - Guelph Little Theatre.  It was a lot of fun and a great outing with the girls.  After the funny play we stopped at the Second Cup for some hot chocolate and cookies.  The girls had a wonderful day.

We then also went to Christie Digital Systems kids Christmas party at Bingeman's.   I think Marc was pretty excited for all his new co-workers to meet us (especially Nyah...  We think she is so great, we want everyone to think that too...)  Nyah took a little while to warm up to the party as always.  She enjoyed playing a few games and then getting to see Santa.  She got a pretty cool gift.  A Dora sun catcher kit.  He have already made like 5 of them...  Pretty fun...  After that we went down stairs and played some indoor glow'n'the dark mini golf with Harm, Parmi and the boys.  Nyah had lots of fun.  She was so cute putting the ball in the hole. 

 

 

It is now the end of the month and we are celebrating with Marc's 36th birthday.  Unfortunately he has not been feeling really well, so we had some cake and gifts and spent the rest of the night taking it easy.  I did enjoy watching Nyah and Marc blowing out the candles and opening the gifts.  I can't remember what we were all talking about but they had an amazing laugh over something...
