HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY NYAH!!!!
Nyah is another year older. She is now 3 years old and she shows us on her fingers by hold two fingers up on one hand and one on the other. It is really cute. This year we had a special treat to celebrate her birthday with a visit from Miche, Pere and Teresa. We were all very excited about that.
We decided to have a big party for Nyah this year with a Halloween theme. It was great. All the kids wore costumes and we played some fun games. We played pin the nose on the pumpkin and bashed a pumpkin piņata full of candy. We also put together with the help and lots of creativity from Marc, a touchy feely box, which had four sections with intestines (noodles), maggots (rice) gooey eye balls (peeled grapes) and guts (pumpkin guts). The kids (and adults) really had fun with touching all those great things. The games we so much fun that even Scott, Amanda (Corey's girlfriend) and I had a turn at pin the nose on the pumpkin.
After all the games, we all gobbled up the tasty ham, turkey, rice and potatoes that Miche prepared for us all. The food was great and so was the company. THANKS MICHE!!! We then opened all Nyah's gifts. She was really excited about all her boxes. It was really funny to watch her open each one so fast and move on to the next one. Until she got to a box of play food, which luckily was one of her last gifts, all she wanted to do then was open it and play. She got lots of cool, fun toys and books like a cash register, a shopping cart, some play appliances and other great items. She is really excited about playing and having fun with her toys and exploring all the new ways to play.
After opening her gifts we got her cake ready with the three candles and made a wish and with the help of a few friends, she blow them out. This year we went with a story bought cake to keep with the Halloween theme that said HAPPY BOORTHDAY NYAH... It was a fun, happy and memorable day.
